The ANRI company was founded in 1912 by Anton Riffeser in the Dolomites region of Northern Italy. The company built on the existing tradition of wood carving in the area, with Anton Riffeser establishing a workshop to create his own designs. His son, Josef Anton Riffeser, later transformed the company into a more industrial model, expanding its reach to new markets.
